Important points to be kept in mind for this Fall 2009 semester.

Dear Participants!

Assalam o Alaikum Wr,

I welcome you all in the Department of Textiles on the behalf of our faculty. I am in no doubt that you all would have had a very pleasant Ramadan ul Mubarak & Eid ul Fitr. I am certain, that Insha Allah, we would strive hard for seeking knowledge in these coming years of our stay at our Dept. of Textiles. We all with your sincere help, will share our knowledge and experiences, and would go jointly like a family. I am in no doubt that our team work will bring success at our doors.

For achievement of our fruitful, productive and prolific goals, we all need to be on our toes from today onwards. Therefore here are some important points to be kept in mind for this Fall 2009 semester.

  1. Attendance policies are to be followed as per rules and regulations of the University.
  2. Assignments, quizzes, projects and all other relevant academic exercises are to be accomplished on time.
  3. Quality of the scholastic and other learning activities must be of high standards and goal oriented.
  4. Participants are requested to strictly observe set of laws set by the university, concerning discipline, dress codes, fee submissions, registrations etc.
  5. Individuals/groups having concern/s regarding any matter which may include resource persons, personal matters, or any other problem should first get in touch with the concern advisor allocated to him/her, but if the issue is not resolved then they are welcome to contact the Chairman of the Department. However, if you feel to speak to me (Dept. Chairman) directly in the first instance, you are more than welcome to do so.

These were some of the key points to pass on the idea; however, there are minor details of set of laws which will be notified to all of you by your course mentors. University’s rules and regulations are all available in the students’ handbook, websites and from the mother departments’ setup for the particular job.

I once again welcome you all and put forward my honest services to all of you. I would like to include one important point, that is, Respect everyone and you will be respected by everyone.
